Ordeal by Cheque: Part II

Directions. Now that you have the rest of the checks, you should be able to explain what happens in the rest of the story. Analyze them closely. Then, write a 200 word response explaining what happened in the rest of the story and justifying your position. Again, use complete sentences and correct capitalization, punctuation, and perhaps even commas! Submit your post to the blog by no later than next Friday, September 23rd.  Be sure to read other classmates’ responses to see if you agree or disagree with them.

I Made It!

Post to this blog, which will show you have made it and can make posts!

"Ordeal by Cheque"

Scenario. Crue published this story in a magazine in 1932. It was a two-part story. The unique aspect of this story is that it is told entirely through bank checks (like the ones we still write today to pay our bills). He enclosed a series of checks and asked the readers to guess the storyline based on the information provided on the checks. I have given you the important information off the checks. It is listed on the chart below.
Directions.
1.       Examine the checks listed below very carefully.
2.       Break into a group of no more than three and discuss what the story is about. Have logical reasons for your choices.
3.       When you are done, you need to answer the following questions in a three paragraph response:
·         What is the story about?
·         How would you describe the main characters?
·         What do you think will happen in the remainder of the story?
Your response will eventually be posted to the appropriate thread on my blog. I want you to use correct capitalization, spelling, and complete sentences.
